Milk chocolate, a juicy rounded fruit sweetness and a soft, full body — this Brazilian espresso is so well-balanced it works beautifully as a straight shot or as the foundation for milk drinks. The chocolate notes come alive especially in a cappuccino or flat white.
The beans come from Sítio Estrela, a small family farm in Muzambinho in the Sul de Minas region. The farm is run by Paula and Fabricio Santini — Paula holds a PhD in biology and is a certified Q-grader who applies her scientific expertise in plant physiology directly to coffee cultivation. Paula's grandmother Mary (93) and son Fabio also work on the farm.
